The people behind Counseling to Careers are Navy Veterans, Nurses, and Business leaders. Collectively, we have many years of experience in the commercial and medical communities. Each of us has worked in a diverse set of industries, and most are now, or have been entrepreneurs.


Raymond Giamporcaro


Raymond is currently the founder and inventor of Renew Healing Inc. He has written and refined the missions of the vision based upon his time in and after the U.S. Navy. He has organized a slate of board members, and written all pertinent documents.

Raymond’s life is a product primarily of his U.S. Navy service as a Data Systems Technician while deployed and attached to the USS Virginia, CGN 38 and other ships.

He was honored to be Sergeant of the Guard in the U.S. Navy’s Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) Armed Security Force afloat (PRP is a United States Department of Defense Psychological Evaluation program, designed to permit only the most trustworthy individuals to have access to nuclear weapons, Chemical and Biological Weapons) *

Raymond earned or won the following US Navy awards and certifications: Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Good Conduct, Battle E(3), Navy Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Sea Service(3) Crypto certification, Basic Electricity/Electronics, DS”A” school, CGN UYK-7 and Peripheral (Navy Tactical Data Systems, NTDS) schools, Honorable Discharge after 6 years of service.

He founded and operated DS1 Engineering, Inc., a successful IT company in N.Y., which operated for 18 years, with installations spanning four states. He also Founded and operated concurrently the Sunspot Pool & Spa Company in N.Y. He was a member of Rotary, St. John the Baptist Church, and the Holy Name society.

Having studied world history for 12 years with a concentration in European and Asian civilizations he has a deep understanding of our world and politics.

Raymond is a Technical Scuba Diver working with mixed gasses for deep wreck exploration. He holds 5 major diving certifications. he enjoys Ballroom dancing, and is a big part of the local ballroom community. He is a  guitar and bass player, who organizes other musicians to play together and to perform in public.

    Diane S. Hartman, R.N, BSN

    Diane is currently the Account Executive/Care transitions Coordinator for the largest home care company in the U.S. Her current position requires expertise in the following duties:

    • Marketing Management with Medical Directors, Medical Doctors,
    • Social workers and Discharge Planners.
    • Coordination and Utilization of community resources
    • Utilization of Computer programs/documentation
    • Inventory/ordering medical supplies/office supplies
    • In Service education/community, Patients and their Families
    • The safe transition of patients from acute care to the home through
    • Education and utilization of resources available within the community.
    • Disease management and process, medications mgt.
    • Liaison between the Medical Doctor, Acute and Long Term Care Facilities & the Patient.
    • Serving as a Community Resource for the patient and family for coordination of care
    • Obtaining MD orders for home care as well as DME/Ordering and providing

    Diane holds several degrees, in the Nursing field, and is a BSN Diane has held positions in many of the nursing fields during her career. Diane is a trusted expert, and was deeply involved for seventeen years working in the antique industry, specializing in furniture and dolls.

    Diane utilized her expertise with antique dealerships. Diane was charged with purchasing, book keeping collecting and reporting sales and business taxes. Diane was also charged with Sales, Sales management, Advertising and marketing. Diane is well versed in the world of antiques, and is an avid collector of toys, dolls, and furniture. Many people seek her out with questions regarding collectable purchases. Diane is well involved in her community, including her Home owners association. Diane is the matriarch in a large family, providing the central gravity which helps hold the loyalty of the family together

      Michael Maziarz

      Michael Maziarz, Director of Business Operations Michael is retired Naval Officer with 26 years of operations, logistics and management experience. Michael is a combat veteran with many citations and decorations. Michael has also performed a dual role with over 20 years’ experience in the implementation, sales, manufacturing and operations programs for software and device manufactures.

      Michael’s primary technical training was in advanced aviation electronics focusing on communications and radar equipment. Recently Michael was instrumental in establishing and improving the manufacturing process for miniature X-Ray tube assembly.

      Michael was also instrumental in building several successful Network Management Software Companies. Michael specializes in Operational improvement from Business Development to Manufacturing. Michael has worked in startups he has implemented Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance (SOX), and Total Quality Management (TQM). Michael also has expansive knowledge of Just In Time (JIT) implementations.

      Michael has held senior management positions in key Naval positions as well as a civilian with multiple startups. Michael holds an MBA & BSBA from the University of Phoenix. He also holds Certifications in Logistics, Supply Management, and Advance Avionics. Michael enjoys learning and playing guitar, working on his home, boating, and interacting with friends, over good seafood. Michael is very excited about, and has committed considerable time and effort toward the successful fruition of the Renew Healing Project.

        Mark Squires

        Board Member

        Mark has a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and he graduated on the president’s list.

        Mark has worked in the technology industry for Xerox Corp and the U.S. Department of Defense (working pattern analysis for Very Low Frequency transmitters and developing radar arrays for airborne systems.) Mark worked with stealth technology during its infancy.

        Mark worked at Rochester Telephone Corporation, where he worked as an engineer for 13 years. Mark was a Senior Network Design Engineer, designing state-of-the-art digital and fiber optic network communications platforms.

        Mark worked as Vice President of one of the largest residential construction companies in Rochester, N.Y. Mark was charged with the general management of the company: Hired sub contractors, scheduled jobs, purchased materials, managed inventory. Managed accounting in conjunction with retained accountant, Collections of receipts, managed sales and managed all forms of taxes related to the company.

        Mark founded and became president of Frontier Financial Corp. which was a licensed mortgage bank. Mark expanded to offices and certifications in four states. Marks duties included general management, understanding the continuously changing banking regulations, lead generation, collecting mortgage information, submitting packages to different banks, selecting the best loan for a given situation, and working with various state bank examiners. Mark hired loan originators and managed their loans. During its peak, Frontier Financial had twenty two employees.

        Mark loves motor sports, Motor cycles, and performance cars. He participates in Auto-cross events. Mark enjoys the outdoors with his family and family vacations.

        Mark was informed of the mission of Renew Healing, Inc, and was very enthusiastic about helping our veterans. Having been raised in a military family in air bases around the world, Mark offered to help in a charitable way by filling this unpaid position.
